Inge
Mahn (born 1943
in Teschen, Poland); studied in studio Joseph Beuys, in Staatlichen
Kunstakademie Düsseldorf (1964-71). Since 1993 she is professor in
Kunsthochschule Weissensee in Berlin.
Active in the fields of sculpture and installation. Art works she
exhibit e.g. in PS 1, New York, Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin, Diane
Brown Gallery, New York, Kunsthalle, Helsinki, Städt. Galerie im
Lenbachhaus, München, Apollohuis, Eindhoven, Galerie Bruster, Wuppertal,
Emerson Gallery, Berlin, and in group exhibitions in Germany, Italy,
Spain, England, Denmark France, Sweden, Norway, Iceland - e.g. „documenta
5” in Kassel (1973), „Zeitlos” in Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin (1988).
