Artur
Klinaú (born
1965 in Minsk, Byelorussia); studied in the Department of Architecture
of the Byelorussian Polytechnic Academy in Minsk. Since 1998 he has
been chairman of the Byelorussian Union of Modern Art and, since
2001, chief editor of the art magazine “pARTisan”. He has appeared
in many exhibitions in Poland, Russia, Germany, Holland, Switzerland,
USA, England, France, Lithuania, Byelorussia and Sweden. He does
objects and installations, and is the author of a cycle of works
entitled “Texts” (1997-1999), alluding to famous philosophers and
politicians. He lives and works in Minsk.
