Koji Kamoji (born
1935 in Tokyo); studied at the Musashino Academy of Fine Arts in
Tokyo with the Professors Saburo Aso and Choonan Yamaguchi (graduated
in 1958); at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw with Professor Artur
Nacht-Samborski (graduated in 1966), awarded the C.K. Norwid Critics’
Prize in 1975.
Since 1967 he has been associated with the Foksal Gallery in Warsaw,
where few of his solo exibitions have been organised. He exhibited
also in Sculptur Gallery, Warsaw, Arts Museum, Lodz, Town Gallery,
Cieszyn, Potocka Gallery, Cracow, CSW Zamek Ujazdowski, Warsaw, Stara
Gallery, Lublin, RR Gallery, Warsaw, Kunstmuseum, Magdeburg, Büro
Otto Koch, Dessau, Muzalewska Gallery, Poznan, and at the group exhibitions
in Poland, France, Ireland, Japan, Scotland, Estonia, Hungary. Artist
lives and works in Warsaw.
