Mirosław Bałka was born 1958 in Warsaw, Poland, where he lives and works. He is Professor in Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan. In 1992 the artist participated in the Documenta IX and participated in the Venice Biennial in 2005 and 1993. Bałka's work is found in the biggest world collections.
